Pontiac has reintroduced the legendary GTO to the masses of hot rod enthusiasts. Powered by an all aluminum small block V8, this machine is smoking tires and unsuspecting competition all across America. JBA was quick to develop the first performance headers for this slick muscle car. Using heavy-duty materials, patented technology and precision engineering - JBA has developed the ultimate performance exhaust header system for street or strip use. With over 300 hp on tap, the 04-06 GTO is capable of blistering performance. JBA's first offering for the GTO comes in the way of high performance headers that elevate that performance. Starting with the oversized ports and smooth flowing 1-5/8" mandrel-bent tubing, these headers give an unrestricted path for spent gasses leaving the engine. They merge in to JBA's patented Firecone® high flow collector for improved exhaust scavenging and reduced turbulence. The result is a gain of 30+hp and 34+ lb.ft. of torque at the rear wheels! The new GTO has got power, handling and refinement on par with many more expensive European cars. But underneath the civilized sheet metal skin, the GTO is an American muscle car reborn. It deserves a stout exhaust system to go with its’ muscle car heritage. At JBA, the engineering team developed an exhaust system that really unleashes the power of the small block and delivers a robust exhaust tone befitting this modern day hot rod. It features smooth flowing mandrel-bent tubing to replace the crushed tube factory components. The dual high flow JBA mufflers deliver significantly increased flow and an awesome sound that is sure to encourage frequent smoky burnouts and high RPM blasts down the on-ramp. These systems finish with great looking 4” double-wall stainless steel tips that enhance the overall look of the GTO. When combined with JBA’s Cat4ward® headers and high flow Mid-pipes, the power and sound is unbeatable.

If you're looking to get even more power from your GTO, check out these new high flow Mid-pipes from JBA. These precision built components are engineered to deliver a huge increase in performance for the re-born legend and a powerful exhaust note. These new mid-pipes feature mandrel-bent stainless steel tubing, metal substrate high flow catalytic converters, factory style flanges and hangers and provisions for 02 sensors. Once installed, these components open up the exhaust system for substantial performance gains and a healthy change in the exhaust note. Installation can be done in about one hour with common tools. These mid-pipes are designed to work in conjunction with JBA Cat4ward® headers or factory manifolds.

When upgrading the performance of your GTO, you will want to upgrade your ignition wires to a set of JBA PowerCables™. Each set is custom tailored to your specific application so you get a perfect fit every time. JBA's performance ignition wires feature ultra-low resistance wire-wound mag conductors that allow more spark energy to reach the spark plug without electronic interference. JBA Powercables™ come with 100% silicone jackets for great resistance to high heat as well as abrasion and tears. The high heat boots give plenty of clearance for routing around the headers. The editors at Car Craft made an extra 5 hp on a project engine with a set of 9mm JBA PowerCables™. Installing a set of these wires is easy to do on the GTO and they look great under the hood.
