JBA's Tri-Y long tube headers for 390/427/428 give you the power you're looking for in a package that fits like no other. JBA's designs are application specific to best fit the engine/transmission combination in your Mustang. They also feature big 1-3/4" primaries that flow in to 2-1/4" secondary tubes and terminate in a big 3" collector. Plus they are designed to give maximum ground clearance for street or track use. With heavy-duty stainless steel tubing, thick 3/8" laser-cut flanges and JBA sealing dome collector, you don't have to worry about leaks caused by lesser materials.

The classic Tri-Y header for early small block Mustangs have been a popular upgrade since Shelby started using them on his famous GT350s. The Tri-Y design delivers good flow improvement and scavenging for a broad increase in power throughout the RPM range. Unfortunately the typical Tri-Y is low quality junk made in China that doesn't fit and will never last. JBA's Tri-Y headers are designed for the real Mustang enthusiast. Like all JBA products, they are made in the USA with quality construction and a precision fit. These headers feature extra thick 3/8" CNC laser-cut flanges on the head and collector to prevent leaks caused by warping. The smooth flowing mandrel-bent stainless steel primaries are extra tough to resist burn-through and keep the heat in. The "Y" transitions are actual high flow merge designs unlike the swedged tube of other Tri-Y's. Each kit includes quality hardware and gaskets for an easy no leak installation. They are also available with high temp ceramic coating for the best thermal protection. Don't cut corners on your classic Mustang.

JBA has a replacement Z-bar for classic Mustangs designed specifically for use with JBA Headers. There are multiple Z-bars from Ford and other reproduction companies found on the early Mustangs. Most will have adequate clearance for your new JBA Headers. If you have a modified or worn Z-bar that interferes with your JBA headers then you will need to alter or replace it. JBA's replacement Z-bar is designed for a perfect fit and movement with JBA headers and features heavy-duty steel construction with a durable black wrinkle finish.

: JBA Power Assist Ram Drop Bracket ::

The factory power assist steering system on big block Mustangs doesn't leave a lot of room for a quality set of headers. For that reason JBA offers this drop down bracket. The bracket lowers the mounting point to the frame of the power assist ram giving extra clearance for your new headers. It features heavy duty steel plate construction and a black powder coat finish. This part is required when installing JBA part no. 6607S, 6608S, 6655S and 6656S on Mustangs equipped with factory power assist steering.
