JBA p/n 1650 headers are designed to fit ‘64-1/2 - ‘70 289/302 (not Boss) Mustangs equipped with 4spd/5spd/C4/C6/AOD transmissions.

The mid-length design of the headers provides significant increases in torque and horsepower throughout the RPM range and allows for maximum ground clearance. Ideal for cars with lowered suspension.

To help make sure you choose the correct headers, h-pipe and exhaust for your Mustang please refer to the chart below. If you still have questions, give us a call.

Note: These headers will work with a stock mechanical clutch using the factory Z-bar. If Z-bar is modified or worn use JBA p/n 1650Z.
Starter tubes are available to mate your existing exhaust system to the headers. For best results use JBA p/n 1650H H-pipe.
